An article I recently found online talked about conserving wild fisheries. I have always been interested in oceanic topics so this one caught my attention. As I read on, it went into more detail on commercial whaling. Commercial whaling is the hunting and killing of whales all over the world for their meat and oils. This act had been banned years ago to try and save the species, yet they are still being killed. Some countries try to find loop holes in the rules and claim they kill the whales for scientific research, when really it is just for their meat. This has been an ongoing issue and something we should be aware of. Here is a link to the website I found if anyone is interested in further information. Thank you!
