Hi, Classmates!
Here are some photos I took today of "my other farm," which actually belongs to the Downers Grove Park District! It is similar to the NCC Community Garden, except HUGE! I rent two plots each year, and cooperatively garden with my friend. This summer our classmate Sheeba is joining us, too. If any of you are interested, just let me know; we have more than enough space (40' x 30') for anyone who wants to dig a little deeper into community farming, pun intended :)
The ground was just plowed yesterday, and the garden formally opens today. It won't look like this for long!
